we booked room over phone instead of internet and was not informed correctly of the pricing structure, so when we came to pay bill we was rudley told of the price which eas £30 more than expected, when we rang to discuss this with the landlord, he started shouting and put phone down on us, in the end they agreed to refund £20 and i'm still waiting. overall the room was clean but the double bed was two singles pushed together and zipped up leaving a big gap in centre and a few other small details, main disapointment was the poor customer service and not value for money.

Stayed at the black horse for two nights, would recomend highly and will be going again later in the year. Room was well furnished and facilities were good. Felt very welcome from the start and nothing was any trouble. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Felt like home from home.
